The secluded location in the beautiful valley surrounded by Pyrenees peaks is a real hidden gem. We enjoyed the sound of cows and horses bells and found plenty of energetic walking routes. the panoramic views from the famous hill climb stages were breathtaking and less crowded than in the French Alps. the warm and welcoming staff provided an excellent service, including a delicious menu with an extensive wine list to suit all tastes and at moderate prices. the accommodation was immaculate and comfortable.
The occasional mountain thunderstorms were the only downside, but this is not a norm, so it's not a significant negative aspect.

With various scenic walking routes, it is a perfect base to explore the nearby mountains. the dining area is praiseworthy with a good menu, well-modified for personal taste. the accommodation is wide ranging, from spacious rooms to chic Gites, immaculately clean and comfortable.
Although mountain thunderstorms are a less common occurrence, travelers should be prepared for any untoward circumstances.
